CLIMATE INITIATIVES

At ROSE POULTRY, we are working towards reducing our carbon footprint in the supply chain. Reducing CO₂e emissions, increasing the recyclability of our packaging, and enhancing biodiversity through responsibly produced soy are at the core of our environmental efforts.

In our production in Denmark, we use green energy to a large extent. However, we are still committed to reduce our energy consumption even more. We continuously initiate new measures to improve our energy efficiency.

Our near-term targets are currently under review by the SBTi and we expect them to be approved later in 2025. Reducing climate impacts, using sustainable packaging, and increasing biodiversity are central to our environmental work.

Responsibly produced soy

Our goal is to use 100% responsibly produced soy in the feed for our chickens by 2025 at the latest. The soy must be third-party verified, responsible, and deforestation-free.

Packaging

We put recyclability front and center. We work continuously to reduce our plastic consumption and increase the amount of recycled plastic in our packaging.
