AT ROSE POULTY, ANIMAL WELFARE IS A MATTER OF THE HEART

You can trust that at ROSE Poultry the well-being of our chickens is always a priority.

AT ROSE POULTY, ANIMAL WELFARE IS A MATTER OF THE HEART

Our chicken producers are carefully selected according to their dedication to the good Danish traditions of high quality and great focus on animal welfare and well-being. We carefully monitor all stages of the chicken’s lives, and we can document their well-being.

Space, dry bedding and plenty to eat

Safe surroundings provide the foundation for a good life. All chickens from ROSE Poultry roam freely in a warm and dry rearing house, where there is room to grow and there is always dry bedding. They can eat and drink when they want, and they get a long night's sleep.

Low level of disease and antibiotics

Our skilled farmers make a big effort to keep their herds healthy and fit. Our chickens have a very low level of diseases – less than 2 percent of our flocks were treated with antibiotics in 2021.

Happy chickens have healthy feet

A chicken's feet tell a lot about how it feels. An unhealthy environment where the chickens walk around in dirty bedding causes damage to the chickens' foot pads. Footpad health is therefore a good indicator of the chickens' health and well-being. ROSE Poultry is at a high level for footpad health. In fact, 97 percent of our herds were in the best category for foot pad health in 2021.
